Sweep the leg, Johnny

This is awesome.  The actors in this video are the actors from the movie.  It must have taken some kind of inside effort to actually allow clips from the movie, etc., to be in this video.  Brilliant!

ODU Monarchs break #8 Georgetown’s 24 year winning streak

ODU Monarchs ODU dominated Georgetown, the first team to beat the Hoyas at McDonough Arena in 24 years.  Despite being down at halftime, the Monarchs rallied and beat the Hoyas across the board.  At the end of the game, ODU was +4 on rebounds, +4 on steals, and won the perimiter battle with 9-16 3 point shooting, compared to 6-19 shooting for the Hoyas.

Even Patrick Ewing wasn’t enough to get the win for the Hoyas.  6’8″ Patrick Ewing, Jr. went scoreless, missing 3 3-pt shots for the night.

ODU is 4-1, losing to Clemson 74-70.  Clemson is coached by Oliver Purnell, a former ODU coach.  Beware the Colonials!
