Unknown Dog has been running on autopilot for awhile. Your friendly admin has been quite busy with work and house buying. Barring some unforseen disaster, like the house burning down to the ground or the bank really digging into my credit report, it looks like me and the lovely wife have hitched ourselves to this house:
I do a fairly poor job with a camera, and I am sad to report that the pics taken of the interior aren’t worth the trouble of posting. A few details:
- House built in 1898, additions built ~1915-1920
- 2 br, 2 bth
- ~2200 sq ft
- 12-14 ft. ceilings throughout
- Huge attic, reached through a metal spiral staircase
- Fully fenced yard and doggy door
- Covered front porch with ceiling fans
- Rear deck with storage underneath

Great home, buddy. Melissa and I love the high ceilings and the metal staircase sounds fun and spooky. Keep the pictures coming.
The left-most door (with the doggy door) opens onto the mud room/laundry room, which flows via a relatively open floor plan into the kitchen and then into a sunroom. I can’t wait to for the dogs to be able to let themselves in and out. Woo Hoo!
Yeah, keep the pics coming. With ~2200 sq. feet and only two bedrooms, I bet some of those rooms are really spacious and cool looking. Also, are those actually four sets of french doors on the patio or are some of them windows? In either case, they should let in a lot of light. Lack of interior light is a problem with my current house, so I don’t take it for granted.
The 2 sets on the left are definitely doors. I think all four are doors, but I can’t remember for certain right now.
