We combined a couple fun things in our trip to Pinnacle this past weekend. It was Jennifer’s first geocaching expedition. The kids aren’t necessarily old pros, but they both have been before, but this was the lovely wife’s first trip. Armed with the GPS, she ended up finding the cache, or more exactly, hinting and prompting the kiddos to discover the cache themselves.
Incidentally, this was an [excellent beginner’s cache]- fun location, easily found, easy to get to, tons of treasure.
We also had some kid friendly rock climbing/exploring expeditions:
And last, but not least, Charlotte made the trip. She pretty much slept the entire time, despite bouncing down paths and having the jogging stroller carried portage style multiple time to get around some large trees that had fallen in the path.
