This is Gabe, he just turned 1 year old June 8th:
Gabe got a walker type toy from the Anderson/White clan in Virginia and Gabe was fired up to get it out of the box:
Some assembly was required, which I think made it even better for Gabe:
Once the car was all put together, Gabe had a ball checking under the hood:
All in all, Gabe gave the toy car rave reviews:
Gabe got goodies from the Little Rock clan, too. Here he is digging out a Pooh Bear, an Eyeore, and some hip new baby clothes out of the big brown birthday bag. Spotted frog from the spotted dogs and cool book on constuction vehicles not shown here.
Jennifer made Gabriel a cake of his very own. This is no run of the mill chocolate cake, this home made cake is dairy free! Gabe is off regular milk right now- he had a miserable stretch we suspect is reflux and/or a developing milk allergy. Jennifer still wanted the little guy to have a cake, so she made him a cake that wouldn’t wreck his guts later. Turned out very nice!
Gabe sized up his cake for a second, I don’t think he really was sure what he was going to do with it…
…after a tentative sample of two, he was ready to get down to business…
