Family hit the Clinton Library for fun and games:
Gabe and Graydie get the Easter Egg gathering pep talk from Mom and then get to it…
Graydie and I regrouped after egg gathering, and Gabe and Jennifer hit the petting zoo. The petting zoo was pretty great- besides some of the typical animals one might expect like goats and cows and ponies, this petting zoo had emus, zebras, a small kangaroo, a big tortise, and some other cool stuff.
The library was also hosting a couple different bouncy whopper hopper tents. We let Gabe go through one of them:
Gabe was having so much fun, I think he overloaded- I don’t know how to explain what happened next…
For a kid that has been almost uniformly well behaved in the extreme in public, Gabe threw a fit to end all fits. It was so bad that random folks in the park were walking by to make sure we weren’t actually beating the kid under the guise of trying to attend to a nuclear meltdown. A long, reluctantly taken, nap fixed him up- he told us he felt better after his nap.
