Two comic strips that I find hilarious:
Tom Tomorrow, the comic that comes from This Modern World has been a favorite of mine since discovering it in little Portfolio magazine in Hampton Roads, VA. For those unfamiliar with the publication, all you need to know is that it bills it self as “The Alternative Voice of the Seven Cities”. Think they might be supporting the Liberal Agenda? They are probably living it!

I appreciate the extensive dropping of the F-bomb, but I’m not sure I got a lot out of the unstoppable filing one. On the other hand, I found myself laughing at the war on drugs analogy quite a bit, and I’ve got a good mind to add this to my e-mail signature:
“Monotheistic religion has always brought out the best in us humans; thank you so much for the idea of a vengeful supernatural entity who rewards people in the afterlife! That shit makes a lot of sense!”
In my book, the rampant obscenity is worth it all by itself. I just love out-of-control obscenity. It never ceases to make me laugh. Seriously.
I liked the one where the chic said, “Are US citizens allowed to kill suspected terrorists now? … This dude standing by my desk is wearing a really fucked-up jacket… can I cap him?”
Or this one… “When is the goddamn Death Star gonna shoot that big-ass laser at us?”
I like these guys’ style.
