A new unknown

Well, the unknown dog clan has added an additional four-legged member. Sarah is a sweet dog that we obtained in circumstances similar but not as drastic as Brandy of the Gravely clan. Jennifer’s half-sister lives out in the country and this was a country dog. We took her in because she is so sweet and she needed a home.

The dog is doing pretty good. She is somehow magically housebroken, that is a big positive. She is a chewer, and that is a minor negative. She has taken a liking to chewing the hell out of the cushions of our living room furniture. Hopefully this is just a phase.

I am not sure what kind of dog she is- I will try to post a pic and see what people think.

Alright, a good ole Arkansas country dog. She should be brining you home coons and possums before you know it. Looking forward to a picture. How old?

Yeah, I gotta get a digital camera, even a cheap one. The guess on age is 9-10 months old. She is getting cozy in our canine family pretty quick. The chewing is an issue.

When a dog chews a power cord, do you think the breaker will trip before the dog completely electrocutes herself?

I wouldn’t count on it, but how big is the dog? I would think anything bigger than 25-30 pounds would have a fighting chance to survive. Hit a pet store and get some of those hooves. They have a bit of an odor to them, but it’s not that bad, but they’re cheap, they last a long time and dogs seem to love to chew on them even moreso than furniture and cords.
