Our master bath finally got an update…

The bedroom remodel is finally finished. The last little piece was installing closet doors on the linen closet.

Christmas goodies this year included a couple big box hardware store gift cards. We turned those gift cards and a surprisingly short amount of time into a new backsplash:

What started out as a 1 week project is now about 90% complete after 3 1/2 months…

A big hackberry tree fell on our roof early this spring. There wasn’t much damage to speak of, but I needed to remove a small stretch of chainlink fence so the stump grinding machine could do its thing.

Gabe’s early arrival pretty much shut down the attic project. The kitchen island project then got top billing for a while. Finally, three months later, a looming November deadline coupled with cooler temperatures has prompted me to get up in … Continue reading →
