More Gabe

A few people commented on Gabe seemingly flipping the bird to the camera in the last set of pics. While we can’t be sure of his intentions, I imagine that having one’s dad pull his best one man paparazzi imitation could get annoying. Anyway, you aren’t here for my witty banter, as a couple years of server logs will attest, so on to the pics:

More bt.etree.org goodness

Since my first posting about etree, I have become even more enraptured by bt.etree.org, the site for trading live shows from trade-friendly artists. I have had 3 shows rotating through my computer’s speakers lately- concert recordings by the John Butler Trio, David Gray, and John Mayer.

I decided to burn the John Mayer to CD so I could take it to work and listen. I get to work, open the CD in Winamp, and to my welcome surprise, which ever CDDB-like service Winamp is using (Gracenote, maybe?) picks up the track listing auto-magically. Right on!

NPR SOTD

NPR’s song of the day is “I love Boosters!” from The Coup:

Song for the Shoplifters:

…They keep me dressed so fresh
even when my wallet yells SOS…
